Get Ready for Your Senior Session
A few tips to help you feel confident, relaxed, and totally yourself on photo day.
1. Bring a few outfit options we recommend 2–3 looks: something classic, something fun, and something that feels just like you. Think layers, textures, and accessories that add personality.
2. Choose locations that matter Love the city streets of downtown Flint? Prefer golden hour in a field or your favorite coffee shop? We’ll help guide you to spots that fit your style and story.
3. Think about hair + makeup + nails Professional makeup and soft styling can elevate your images, but it’s totally optional. Go with whatever makes you feel your best. If you’re planning a haircut, schedule it at least a week in advance.
4. Bring your confidence (and a little water) Feeling nervous? That’s totally normal—we’ll guide you through natural poses and keep it fun. Don’t forget to stay hydrated and well-rested so you feel great from the inside out.
5. Bring props or pieces that represent you Sports gear, instruments, letter jackets, or even your pup—bring the things that make your story yours.
6. Bring someone who makes you feel at ease a parent, a sibling, or your best friend having someone with you who brings comfort and confidence can make the experience even more fun and relaxed.
After your session
The experience doesn’t end when the camera clicks.
Be sure to follow @lasphotography01 on social media to catch your keepsake video reel delivered the day after your session PLUS a sneak peek of your senior photos within one week.
Your full, professionally edited gallery will be delivered by email two weeks after your session, ready to download to your phone or computer in high resolution.
Once you’ve selected your favorite yearbook portrait, we’ll take care of the rest submitting it directly to your school, perfectly cropped and edited to meet their specifications.
